Synthetic Waxes: PARAFLINT®

PARAFLINT® waxes are synthetic waxes made by the Fischer-Tropsch process. PARAFLINT® waxes are similar to paraffin wax in structure, but they are higher in melting point and harder, due to their higher molecular weight. The physical properties of PARAFLINT® make it an ideal wax for many applications, including: hot melt adhesives, inks, paints and coatings, textiles, plastics lubrication, color concentrates, and as an additive to many wax blends. PARAFLINT® waxes are also available in chemically modified grades for use in emulsions, and in spray powder forms for use in coatings.

PARAFLINT® Spray 30, Spray 40 and Spray 105 - Fine Powders for inks and coatings. These powdered PARAFLINT® grades are spray-formed, giving each particle uniform spherical shape. Particle size averages 6 microns for Spray 30 and Spray 105, 13 microns for Spray 40.
